Here are links to our reports of the geological field trips that we have made in the Cheviot Hills.  
Each excursion page provides a map and a description of our route to the geologically interesting locations in that area and what we find there. Photographs, scans and photomicrographs record the rocks we find and the minerals they contain that help to explain the origin and structure of the Cheviot Volcanic Complex.
